Already falling off the wagon...

Well, I had every great intention of getting this "writing a post every Sunday" thing started, however, one week in and I am a day late. Story of my life. So I suppose I will just embrace it, because if there is anything I have learned in all of my 27 years, it is that I am the biggest procrastinator. Ever. This lateness does not surprise me.

With that said, this week was great. I got my first couple of Etsy sales and it has really boosted my enthusiasm for the shop! I plan to get down to business with updating my listings this week, I have some really great stuff just waiting to be photographed!

I have also been feeling overwhelmingly thankful for this little family the manfriend and I are building. Our house has become such a home over the last few months and our evenings together are always filled with experimenting in the kitchen, crafting new cocktails and snuggling puppies. I really couldn't be happier.

Here is a look at last week:

1. A little sign with a big meaning. / 2. An afternoon turned evening with the manfriend's family. / 3. Ladies night in with a few of my favorite things. / 4. My pup and my love sleeping like babies. / 5. Family photo, minus Claire who couldn't be bothered to pose with us. / 6. The most magical wedding. / 7. All of the leaves in the world made their way to our gate.

The beginning.

I have wanted to try my hand at blogging for quite some time now but have managed to do a really great job of putting it off. Today I have decided to put an end to the procrastination madness and start getting down to business. I want to use this blog as a place to document the day to day, to be creative and to (hopefully) get this vintage clothing business I am dreaming of on the move! I suppose ultimately, I want this blog to be something I can look back on and smile because I realize I have had a really great time living my life.

With that being said, and in honor of today being Sunday, I have decided to begin this blog with something I plan to make a weekly occurrence - a Bits & Pieces post. Sundays have become very special to me lately, I never used to have them off and now that I do they have quickly become the most magical day of the week. They mark the start of my weekend, a day off with the boyfriend and the puppies, and in general are just about the perfect blend of productivity and relaxation. I can't think of a better thing to do on a Sunday afternoon than to reflect on all the fun I had the previous week. Here goes nothing, friends.

1. The view of our front yard on a sunny day in January.  2. A rustic, homemade vegan pizza + Dark & Stormy's / 3. Getting down to business with the juicing. / 4. Loves of my life./ 5. Colorful veggies begging to be eaten. / 6. Two tuckered pups. / 7. Reading Emma with the very best cuddle buddy.
